The KMK Series of CNC routers are designed for applications where quality and reliability are important and the absolute high end performance of the HDS Series machine is not necessarily required. They also represent a major price - performance breakthrough and will appeal to customers having only a limited budget but requiring a large cutting area.
All K machines are built on a robust steel frame and use high quality ballscrew drives with integral steel bearings and slideways. These are
fully enclosed to provide maximum protection from dust and swarf contamination and to keep maintenance to a minimum. The ballscrews are driven by 3 phase stepper motors, specially selected to provide smooth motion and high torque response.
